Vancouver, BC – The weekend of February 21 – 23 saw yet another sold-out BC Senior Women’s Tennis Association (BCSWTA) event at the annual LadySport Doubles Championships! Played on the beautiful indoor courts at the Jericho Tennis Club, 72 teams battled it out in round-robin boxes over two days, with the top scoring teams moving on to Sunday’s semi-finals and finals. Players enjoyed treats, refreshments, and swag bags upon arrival, and later enjoyed a sit-down catered dinner, along with a wide variety of quality draw prizes on Saturday night. Title Sponsor, and LadySport owner, Phil Moore was also in attendance; where he drew the names of Colleen Houston and Denise Kay to win two brand-new pairs of ASICS, and BROOKS tennis shoes, respectively.
The prizes didn’t end there however, with Junica Lin scoring two Event Passes to a “Night at the Odlum Brown VanOpen” courtesy of the Budimac Tennis Group, Kara Wilson receiving a “Post-Match Pamper” Gift Basket from Pamela Steen, Terri Davies winning a Pink Tennis Bracelet from Arbutus Jewellers, and Jennifer Wood securing a Nayelle Skincare Gift Pack from Tanya Moss!
Meanwhile on the court, players showcased incredible tennis, leading to an action-packed weekend full of twists and turns. Congratulations to all the participants, finalists and winners this year!

Come Fall, the BCSWTA will be hosting the Rackets & Runners Mixed Doubles Championships at the Vancouver Tennis Lawn Club! The Championships will take place from September 10 – 13, 2020. Stayed tuned for updates regarding registration!
