Join us in welcoming the Mission Tennis Club as one of Tennis BC’s newest member clubs. The Mission Tennis Club officially joins the community as a Recognized Regional Tennis Association.
The Mission Tennis Club is an outdoor tennis club with an average of 25 member every year. Located in Centennial Park on three public courts, the club welcomes all skill levels, from beginner to the upper NTRP levels. The club operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 PM until dark, and on Sundays from 11am until 2pm. Did you know the Mission Tennis Club has been operating at this locations for more than 40 years?
Due to the limited court time, most of the club’s play is doubles. Early in the season, the club features a fun tournament for everyone, as well as, a year-ending event. This year, the club will also collaborate with the Mission Ridge Tennis Club for an inter-club tournament.
On of the members at Mission Tennis Club, Brandon Wood, is active in coaching clinics and partners with the Mission Leisure Centre and Tennis BC.
Offering a friendly atmosphere, the Mission Tennis Club hopes to expand their programs to offer more opportunities for everyone. Joining Tennis BC as a member club is great step towards growing the Mission Tennis Club and tennis in BC! Congratulations and welcome to the Mission Tennis Club!
