Thanks to the efforts of some very dedicated people in BC, Alberta and Tennis Canada the list of ITF events in Western Canada is growing every year. Here are some of the upcoming events:
Panorama Recreation to Host Three International ITF Tennis Events in 2017
Panorama Recreation, in conjunction with Tennis Canada will be hosting three ITF World Ranking Tennis Events this year.
For the past several years, Panorama has played host to the $15,000 EncoreFX Women’s Professional ITF Tennis Tournament in June and the Victoria International Junior ITF in October.
This year, Tennis Canada has granted Panorama a third event which will take place at the end of May. This third event will run back to back weeks with another Junior ITF which will take place in Calgary in June.
These international events are an important part of the Tennis Canada National / International Tennis Development Competition Calendar. These events allow Canadians to compete at an international for world ranking points at home.
The 2017 Victoria ITF dates are:
· Panorama Junior ITF – May 27- June 3 (New Event 2017)
· EncoreFX Women’s ITF June 17-25, 2017
· Victoria international Junior ITF October 14-21, 2017
