Salmon Arm, BC – Last weekend, January 18-19, 2020, the inaugural Salmon Arm Snow Fest – Ladies Doubles Tournament was proudly hosted by the Salmon Arm Tennis Club (SATC) at the state-of-the-art Askew Tennis Centre. The indoor tennis centre at SATC opened in Fall 2019, and features three-year round indoor tennis courts (in addition to the 4 outdoor courts).
Six teams from across then Thompson Okanagan region participated in a very competitive Round Robin format event. Terri Mindel and Joy Conrad-Rice were crowned the Champions after being the only team to win all their matches.
It was fantastic weekend of tennis indoors in the midst of ever growing snow banks outside. Congratulations to all the participants of this inaugural event!
