Surrey, BC – On March 4th The Girls In Action mentorship program from Prince Charles Elementary joined girls from LA Matheson Secondary School to try out Wheelchair Tennis. British Columbia’s paralympian tennis player, Sarah Hunter, shared her story with the girls of overcoming adversity to becoming a two-time paralympian. It was an inspiring story of courage and hope, and we thank Sarah for being such a positive role model for the sport!

A big thank you to the Odlum Brown VanOpen for their funding support in making this event possible, and to Michelle McDonell from BC Wheelchair Tennis for providing the chairs and making it a fun event for the girls!
