The 41st Annual VLTBC Masters Indoor Championships event was once again a success with over 250 players participating across 43 events.
This year the stories of the event featured some incredible performances from players who made their comeback to the tennis court after an absence due to injury or illness. In the Men’s 75 Singles Eric Bojesen made a return to competitive match play after a two year absence and won the category title.
Karen Clarke who also has been away tournament play for 20 months made it to the finals of her category after a tough first round win defeating the top seed in Women’s 55 Singles. She was defeated in the final by Meryl Ogen.
Gene Rizak displayed incredible resilience by winning the Men’s 80 Singles event after a long absence from tournament play.
