Vancouver Lawn Hires Uros Budimac

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of
Uros Budimac as the Club’s new Head Tennis Professional.

Uros has returned to Vancouver after a brief time in Europe. For the past 8 years Uros successfully led the tennis department at the Hollyburn Country Club as the Tennis Director and Head Tennis Professional. He has extensive experience working with Tennis Canada as tournament director for national events, as World Team Cup Coach, Canada Games Head Coach,  and National Wheelchair Coach. He is also a five time winner of Tennis Canada’s Coaching Excellence Award.

Uros is a NCCP Level 3 Coach, Certified Tennis Canada Club Professional Level 2, Certified Tennis Canada High Performance Coach 3 and has a USTA Professional Level 2 certification.

As a player, Uros attended Tusculum College, Tennessee on a US tennis scholarship.

Uros will be joining us as of December 5, 2016 and with Russ’ departure as of January 9, 2017 will be assuming full responsibility as of January 10, 2017.
