Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) continues to implement the provincial COVID-19 Immunization Plan, which includes staff of identified at-risk businesses, in industries where full use of personal protective equipment and barriers can be challenging, where outbreaks and clusters have occurred, and where workers live or work in congregate settings. VCH has confirmed that effective immediately, sport, gym and fitness frontline staff working in the Vancouver Coastal Health region can now book vaccinations regardless of age.

Starting now, frontline staff working in the VCH region aged 18 and older (born in 2003 or earlier) may follow the two-step process below to register and then book an appointment. They do not have to reside in the VCH region, but must work on the frontlines in this region.

Public health is working on implementing this process for other health regions in the province and information will be shared once it is made available.
