This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis BC. It is hosted and run by Vernon Tennis Association.
This is a weather-dependent tournament. Please note that match times may be postponed or delayed, and matches could be moved or even cancelled altogether if the conditions warrant.
Events:
- U10 (Orange Ball, 3/4 court): Born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
- U12 (Green Ball, full court): Born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017
- U14 (Regular Ball): Born in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
Date: Sunday, May 17th
Location: Marshall Field Tennis Courts, 6891 Okanagan Landing Road, Vernon BC
Tournament Time: 8:30 am – 2:00 pm (younger kids will play earlier in the day, older kids will play later)
Entry Fee: $40.00 (Payment onsite upon arrival at the tournament desk by cash, credit, or debit)

Entry opens: Thursday, April 30th (08:00 a.m.)
Entry closes: Thursday, May 7th (11:59 p.m.)
Acceptance list posted: Friday, May 8th – ** Priority entry to first time rookie tour players, then entry by Random Lottery. Accepted players will receive an email with payment instructions to confirm their spot in the main draw.
Withdrawal deadline: Sunday, May 10th (11:59 p.m.)
Policy for Late Withdrawal and Failure to Complete Required Tournament Events
Players must withdraw by Sunday midnight if no longer available to play. After this, players are expected to be ready and available.
Important Information:
Support for Parents and Coaches
- No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
- No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.
- Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants and those who have only competed in Rookie Tour events.
- Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).
