This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis BC.  It is hosted and run by The Tennis Centre Langley.

Date: Saturday, February 21

Location: The Tennis Centre – Langley, 20611 80th Ave, Langley BC

Tournament Schedule and Events:

  • 5:30pm-7:00pm – 8U (Red Ball, Mini Court): Born in 2018, 2019, or 2020
  • 7:00pm-8:30pm – U14 (Regular Ball, Full Court): Born in 2012-2015

Registration

Entry Fee

  • $40 – Rookie Entry Fee, paid at the time of registration
  • Reserve/waitlist refunds will be issued 1-2 weeks after the tournament.

  • Opens: Thursday, February 5th (08:00am) **
  • Closes: Thursday, February 12th (11:59pm)
  • Acceptance List Posted
    • Priority for first-time ever rookie tour players; then random lottery
  • Withdrawal Deadline: Sunday, February 15th (11:59pm)
  • Schedule Posted:  Monday, February 16th

Important Information:

Support for Parents and Coaches

  • No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
  • No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.

Eligibility

  • Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants.
  • Players with 3 or more Rising Stars events are ineligible for the Rookie Tour.

Membership Requirement

  • Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).

  • After setting up your account, email a piece of photo ID (e.g., passport) to sly@tennisbc.org for age verification
    • Your account will remain pending until your age is verified.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

  • Before Withdrawal Deadline: Full refund.
  • After Draw Is Posted: Refund minus $10 processing fee.
  • Within 2 Days of Tournament Start: No refund.
