12 & Under (Green Ball) — born 2014-2017

14 & Under (Regular Ball) – born 2012-2015

Date: Friday, June 26 (5:00-8:00pm)

Location: Tennis BC Hub Richmond, 10251 St Edwards Drive, Richmond BC

Tournament time: 5:00-8:00pm (players will be allocated a 1.5 hour time slot, and will be notified of schedule if accepted into the event). We do not accept entries asking for specific match times.

Entry opens: Thursday, June 11 (08:00 a.m.) ** Priority entry for first timers, after this entry is random lottery

Entry closes: Thursday, June 18 (11:59 p.m.)

Acceptance list posted: June 19

Withdrawal deadline:  Sunday, June 21 (11:59 p.m.)

Match schedule posted:  Monday, June 22

**Payment is after acceptance.

Withdrawal deadline: Sunday, April 19th (11:59 p.m.) Policy for Late Withdrawal and Failure to Complete Required Tournament Events (Reserve list players have up to Sunday Midnight prior to the event to withdraw (if still on reserve after this time there is an expectation to be available and ready to play the event.)

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

  • Before Withdrawal Deadline: Full refund of entry fees.
  • After Draw Is Posted: Partial refund (minus $10 processing fee).
  • Within 2 Days of Tournament Start: No refund.

Important Information:

Support for Parents and Coaches

  • No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
  • No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.

Eligibility

  • Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants and those who have only competed in Rookie Tour events.
  • Players with 3 or more Rising Stars events are ineligible for the Rookie Tour.

Membership Requirement

  • Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).

  • After setting up your account, email a piece of photo ID (e.g., passport) to sly@tennisbc.org for age verification
    • Your account will remain pending until your age is verified.
