This tournament is sanctioned, hosted, and run by Tennis BC.
Join us at R.Hub on October 26 for the All Girls Rookie Tour! Open to players in 8U, U10, U12, and U14, this event offers girls a fun and welcoming first step into match play. In a supportive, all-girls environment, players can build confidence, learn the game, and make new friends. Inspired by Girls. Set. Match. program, the focus is on creating positive experiences, encouraging leadership, and empowering every girl to enjoy tennis both on and off the court.
Events: GIRLS ONLY
- 8 & Under (Red Ball, mini court): Born in 2017, 2018, or 2019
- U10 (Orange Ball, 3/4 court) born in 2015-2018
- U12 (Green Ball, full court) born 2013-2016
- U14 (Regular Ball, full court): Born in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

Tournament time: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

By registering, you confirm you are available for the entire day. Accepted players will be assigned a 1.5-hour match slot and notified of their schedule. No requests for specific match times will be accepted.

Fee: Rookie $40—paid at the time of registration
Entry does not guarantee acceptance. Players on the waitlist will be refunded one week after the event.
Entry opens: Thu 25 Sep 8:00 AM – Priority for first-time players, then by random lottery.
Closing deadline: Thu 16 Oct 11:59 PM
Acceptance list posted: Fri 17 Oct
Withdrawal deadline: Sun 19 Oct 11:59 PM*
*This is also the withdrawal deadline for reserve list players. Anyone still on the reserve list after this time is expected to be available to play. Policy for Late Withdrawal
Important Information:
Support for Parents and Coaches
- No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
- No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.
- Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants and those who have only competed in Rookie Tour events.
- Players with 5 or more Rising Stars events are ineligible for the Rookie Tour.
- Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).
