Join us at Richmond Hub on Aug 23 for G.S.M. ‘All Girls Rookie Tour’! Open to players in 8U, U10, U12, U14 & U16; this event offers girls a fun and welcoming first step into match play. In a supportive, all-girls environment, players can build confidence, learn the game, and make new friends. Inspired by Girls. Set. Match. program, the focus is on creating positive experiences, encouraging leadership, and empowering every girl to enjoy tennis both on and off the court.

Events: GIRLS ONLY

  • 8 & Under (Red Ball, mini court): Born in 2018, 2019, or 2020
  • U10 (Orange Ball, 3/4 court) born in 2016-2019
  • U12 (Green Ball, full court) born 2014-2017
  • U14 (Regular Ball, full court): Born in 2012-2015
  • U16 (Regular Ball, full court):  Born in 2010-2013

Tournament time: 10:00 – 6:00pm

Location: Tennis BC Hub Richmond, 10251 St Edwards Drive, Richmond, BC V6X 2V8

By registering, you confirm you are available for the entire day. Accepted players will be assigned a 1.5-hour match slot and notified of their schedule. No requests for specific match times will be accepted.

Fee: Rookie $40 – Payment due at registration

Entry does not guarantee acceptance. Players on the waitlist will be refunded one week after the event.

Entry opens: Thu Aug 6 (8:00 AM) – Priority for first-time players, then by random lottery.

Closing deadline: Thu Aug 13 11:59 PM

Important Information:

Support for Parents and Coaches

  • No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
  • No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.

Eligibility

  • Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants.

Membership Requirement

  • Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).

    • Your account will remain pending until your age is verified.
