Applicable Information to note prior to entering the event.

  • At Orange Ball events and above; players will need to have a consistent overarm serve and be able to keep score independently during a match. Whilst these events may be the first official event that they have played in; it should not be the first time that they have played a match and kept score by themselves. Please ask the players coach or coaching program to verify that they are ready to play at this level.

At Tennis BC, our goal is to ensure that tennis parents and coaches are educated on how to support their child and others during tournament play. Please find some helpful pointers listed below:

  • No coaching is allowed. Do not communicate, visually or verbally while your child is playing a match. Your child could receive penalties because of this.
  • No outside officiating is allowed. This includes line calls and scoring. Any score disputes on court should be referred to the on-site staff.
  • NB – players who have participated in five or more Orange-Green Ball Rising Stars Circuit events are not eligible to play in Rookie Tour. These players will be placed on an exclude list so as to notify them that they have met the maximum number of events to be eligible for the Rookie Tour.
