This event is hosted and run by Newton Tennis Centre and sanctioned by Tennis BC.

This is a weather-dependent tournament. Please note that match times may be postponed or delayed, and matches could be moved or even cancelled altogether if the conditions warrant.

Location: Newton Athletic Park; 7395 128 St, Surrey, BC

Events:

  • U10 (Orange Ball, 3/4 court): Born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
  • U12 (Green Ball, full court): Born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017
  • U14 (Regular Ball, full court):  Born in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

Times: 9:00am-4:30pm. Players will be assigned a 1.5-hour timeslot (3 x 25-min matches). By signing up for this tournament, players indicate full availability for the tournament time listed.

** Acceptance is by random LOTTERY.  Not first come, first served.
Entry is open for one week. All entries are equally considered up until the registration deadline, no matter the time of entry.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

  • Before Withdrawal Deadline: Full refund of entry fees.
  • After Draw Is Posted: Partial refund (minus $10 processing fee).
  • Within 2 Days of Tournament Start: No refund.

Important Information:

Support for Parents and Coaches

  • No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
  • No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.

Eligibility & Membership Requirement

  • Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants and those who have only competed in Rookie Tour events.
  • Players must have a Tennis BC recreational (free) or a junior membership
