Schedule

  • U9 Mixed Doubles: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM  /  1:00PM to 3:00 PM

Events

  • U9 Mixed Doubles: Orange Ball, ¾ Court; partner format can be any gender combination (B/G, B/B, G/G) (16-32 players*)

Match format and schedule:

**Singles sidelines only, doubles alley is OUT

  • Round robin or compass draw, depending on the number of entries.
  • 3 matches guaranteed. Timed matches (35 mins) OR one regular set, whichever comes first – NO AD (deciding point played on Deuce).
  • Tiebreak at 6-6, deciding point to be played at 6-6 in the Tiebreak

  • Entry Fee: $45 per player
  • Payment at the time of registration. Refunds will be issued to all players who withdraw BEFORE the deadline or are on the reserve list – one week after the event.

Register with a Partner:

  • Each player must register individually and indicate their partner’s name !!
  • Both players must complete payment for the entry to be valid.
  • If one partner is selected in the lottery, both will be placed in the main draw.

Register as an Individual:

  • If you don’t have a partner, you may sign up as an individual.
  • Type “Looking for a partner” in the Partner Name field.
  • We’ll pair you with another player after the acceptance list is finalized.

Important Dates

  • Entry Opens: Thursday, Aug 6 (8:00 AM)
  • Entry Closes: Thursday, Aug 13 (11:59 PM)
  • Acceptance List Posted: Friday, Aug 14
  • Withdrawal Deadline: Sunday, Aug 16 (11:59 PM)
  • Draws Posted: Monday, Aug 17

*Withdrawal after the match schedule posted:  partial refund (minus $10.00 processing fee), no refund within 2 days of the event.

 

Additional Notes

  • Entry is by random lottery, NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
  • All entries submitted before the deadline that meet the entry criteria are equally considered.
  • This is a recreational tournament and will not count toward the U9/U10 Leaderboard.
  • The Rogers First Set Tour – Rising Stars circuit is for players who have:
    • Played at least 3 Rookie Tours
    • Exemptions may be made (case-by-case)
