This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis BC. It is hosted and run by Vernon Tennis Association.
This is a weather-dependent tournament. Please note that match times may be postponed or delayed, and matches could be moved or even cancelled altogether if the conditions warrant.
Events:
- 8U (Red Ball, mini nets): Born in 2018, 2019, 2020
- U10 (Orange Ball, 3/4 court): Born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
- U12 (Green Ball, full court): Born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017
- U14 (Regular Ball): Born in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
- U16/U18 (Regular Ball): Born in 2008-2013
Tournament Date & Time:
Saturday, June 13 for U16/U18 categories only (8:30am to 12pm)
Sunday, June 14 for 8U, U10, U12 & U14 (8:30am to 2pm) – younger kids will play earlier in the day, older kids will play later
Location: Marshall Field Tennis Courts, 6891 Okanagan Landing Road, Vernon BC
Entry Fee: $40.00 (Payment is by etransfer prior to the event)

Entry opens: Thursday, May 28th (08:00 a.m.)
Entry closes: Thursday, June 4th (11:59 p.m.)
Withdrawal deadline: Sunday, June 7th
Acceptance list posted: Monday, June 8th – ** Priority entry to first time rookie tour players, then entry by Random Lottery. Accepted players will receive an email with payment instructions to confirm their spot in the main draw.
Policy for Late Withdrawal and Failure to Complete Required Tournament Events
Players must withdraw by Monday midnight if no longer available to play. After this, players are expected to be ready and available.
Important Information:
Support for Parents and Coaches
- No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
- No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.
- Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants and those who have only competed in Rookie Tour events.
- Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).
