This Rookie tournament is organized and run by Hollyburn Country Club. It is sanctioned by Tennis BC.
Date: Sunday, April 19, 2026
Location: Hollyburn Country Club, 950 Cross Creek Road, West Vancouver, BC
Events:
- U10 – Mixed Singles: Orange Ball, 3/4 court (born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019)
- U12 – Mixed Singles: Green Ball, full court (born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)
Tournament time: 12-6 pm, players will be assigned a 1.5-hour time slot for 3 x 25-minute matches.

Entry fee: Rookie $40 — Payment onsite at the tournament desk. No ATM at the club, so CASH OR CHEQUE ONLY (payable to Hollyburn Country Club)
Entry opens: Thursday, Apr 2nd (08:00 a.m.) ** Random Lottery entry with priority for first-time ever rookie tour players
Entry closes: Thursday, Apr 9th (11:59 p.m.)
Acceptance list posted: Friday, Apr 10th
Withdrawal deadline: Sunday, Apr 12th (11:59 p.m.)
Draws posted: Monday, Apr 13th
Important Information:
Support for Parents and Coaches
- No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
- No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.
- Parental misbehaviors can result in penalties for the player.
- Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants.
- Players who have done 3 or more Rising Stars events are ineligible for the Rookie Tour.
- Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).
