This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis BC. It is hosted and run by Bear Mountain Tennis Centre.
Please note matches will be played on clay courts only. Age groups shift as of Jan 1st, 2026.
Event Details:
Friday, Jan 9th, 2026:
- 6:00pm-9:00pm U14 (Regular ball, full court; born in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) – 16 players max.
Saturday, Jan 10th, 2026:
- 12:00pm-2:00pm 8U (red ball, mini court; born in 2018, 2019 & 2020) – 16 players max.
- 12:00pm-4:00pm U10 (Orange ball, 3/4 court; born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) – 8-16 players max.
- 4:00pm-7:00pm U12 (Green ball, full court; born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) – 16 players max.
Players will be assigned a 1.5hr match time slot for 3 x 25 min matches (U10-U14).

Entry Fee: $40 Rookie Tour – Paid online at the time of registration. Payment is not acceptance into the main draw.

Important Information:
- Priority is given to first-time ever Rookie Tour participants. After that, acceptance is a random lottery. (NOT first-come, first-served)
- Players with 3 or more Rising Stars events are ineligible for the Rookie Tour.

Support for Parents and Coaches
- No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
- No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.
- Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).

- Your account will remain pending until your age is verified.
Refund Policy
- Any players on the reserve list will be automatically refunded
- Withdraw Before Withdrawal Deadline: Full refund of entry fees
- Withdraw After Draw Is Posted: Partial refund (minus $10 processing fee).
- Withdraw Within 2 Days of Tournament Start: No refund
- Refunds are processed 1-2 weeks after completion of the tournament.
