This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis BC. It is hosted and run by Bear Mountain Tennis Centre.
Please note matches will be played on clay courts only.
Event Details:
Sunday, Aug 16, 2026:
- 12:30pm-7:30pm
- U10 (Orange ball, 3/4 court; born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019)
- U12 (Green ball, full court; born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017)
- U14 (Regular ball, full court; born in 2012 – 2015)* – could combine with U16 depending on number of entries
- U16 (Regular ball, full court; born in 2010-2013)* – could combine with U14 depending on number of entries
Players will be assigned a 1.5-hour match time slot for 3 x 25 min matches.

Entry Fee: $40 Rookie Tour – Pay online at the time of registration. Payment is not acceptance into the main draw.
Entry open: Thursday, July 30 (08:00 a.m.)
Entry deadline extended: Sunday, Aug 9 (11:59 p.m.)
Acceptance list posted: Monday Aug 10
Withdrawal deadline: Tuesday Aug 11 (11:59 p.m.)
Draw will be posted on Wednesday Aug 12
Important Information:
- Priority is given to first-time ever Rookie Tour participants. After that, acceptance is a random lottery. (NOT first-come, first-served)

Support for Parents and Coaches
- No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
- No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.
- Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).

- After setting up your account, email a piece of photo ID (e.g., passport) to sly@tennisbc.org for age verification
- Your account will remain pending until your age is verified.
Refund Policy
- Any players on the reserve list will be automatically refunded
- Withdraw Before Withdrawal Deadline: Full refund of entry fees
- Withdraw After Draw Is Posted: Partial refund (minus $10 processing fee).
- Withdraw Within 2 Days of Tournament Start: No refund
- Refunds are processed 1-2 weeks after completion of the tournament.
