This is a weather-dependent tournament.  Please note that match times may be postponed or delayed, and matches could be moved or even cancelled.

Join us on July 17 at Stanley Park for the G.S.M. All Girls Rookie Tour! Open to players in U10, U12, U14 and U16, this event offers girls a fun and welcoming first step into match play. In a supportive, all-girls environment, players can build confidence, learn the game, and make new friends. Inspired by Girls. Set. Match. program, the focus is on creating positive experiences, encouraging leadership, and empowering every girl to enjoy tennis both on and off the court.

Events: GIRLS ONLY

  • U10 (Orange Ball, 3/4 court) born in 2016-2019
  • U12 (Green Ball, full court) born 2014-2017
  • U14 (Regular Ball, full court) born in 2012-2015
  • U16 (Regular Ball, full court) born in 2010-2013

Date: Friday, July 17

Tournament time: 09:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Location: Stanley Park Tennis Courts – 8901 Stanley Park Dr., Vancouver

Players will be assigned a 1.5-hour match slot and notified of their schedule. No requests for specific match times will be accepted.

Entry does not guarantee acceptance. Players on the waitlist will be refunded one week after the event.

Entry opens: Thu July 2 (8:00 AM) – Priority for first-time players, then by random lottery.

Closing deadline: Thu July 9 (11:59 PM)

Acceptance list posted: Sat July 11

Withdrawal deadline: Sun July 12 11:59 PM*

Match schedule posted:  Tue July 14

*This is also the withdrawal deadline for reserve list players. Anyone still on the reserve list after this time is expected to be available to play. Policy for Late Withdrawal

Withdrawal after match schedule posted:  Partial refund (minus $10.00 processing fee), no refund within 2 days of the event.

Important Information:

Support for Parents and Coaches

  • No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
  • No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.

Eligibility & membership requirement

  • Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants and those who have only competed in Rookie Tour events.
  • Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).
