Richmond, BC – This year Richmond will be hosting 28 sports at the 55+ BC Games, taking place September 15-19, 2020. Among the racquet sports to be included are tennis, badminton, pickleball and table tennis. The games are expecting an attendance of approximately 3,700 participants and 1,200 volunteers involved in the organization of the event.  The BC Senior Games Society and the Richmond Host Society are pleased to bring the Games to the Lower Mainland.

The BC Senior Games Society is committed to fulfilling their mission of encouraging year-round sports participation amongst the 55+ population throughout the province.  Over the next months, we will be posting more information about the Games, including registration information.

In the meantime, information such as venues and updated rules and technical information can be found on the BC Senior Games Society website on the tennis page: https://www.55plusbcgames.org/sports/  The Tennis venue is Richmond Tennis Club and Minoru Public Courts, located at 6820 Gilbert Road, Richmond.
