Provincial Team Tennis Championships at Bear Mountain

Langford, BC – The Tennis BC Provincial Team Tennis Championships took place on the weekend of August 16-18th at the Westin Bear Mountain Resort on Vancouver Island. The event hosted a total of 150 players, which included 20 Men’s and Women’s  4.0-4.5 and 3.5 teams. The round robin-format Team Tennis Championships took place on the red clay courts at Bear Mountain Tennis Centre. Players were treated to fantastic weather, a picturesque barbecue at the Westin Resort’s fireside lounge and the option of a  pre-tournament clinic featuring world class coaching and a special mental game workshop with Bear Mountain Tennis Director Russ Hartley.

Thank you to the teams for their great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, Westin Bear Mountain Resort for their kind hospitality towards our players. A huge thank you to our volunteers Sylvia Pang and Judy Duff from the South Island Tennis League, Head Canada for providing the balls and prizing,  Tanya Moss for the lovely Nayelle face products,  and the wonderful Bear Mountain Tennis Club team who made the players experience special!
