North Vancouver, BC – Today marked day 2 of the main draw at the Davis Trading Junior ITF Indoor Championships J4 at North Vancouver Tennis Centre. BC’s Stefanie Frias da Silva, Danielle Tuhten, and Chae Eun Yoo have successfully moved onto the quarterfinals. Canada’s Ana Grubor upset the second seed from Great Britain, Jasmine Conway 6-4 6-3. In boys doubles action, 3 BC players have made it to the semifinals, which will take place on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the matches will be back on court at 8:30 AM with boys singles. Six BC boys will be playing for a spot in the boys singles quarterfinals, including U14 2-time national champion Stewart Aronson and sixth seed, Aram Noroozian. Following the boys singles action, the girls doubles will hit the courts not before 10 AM.
