Volunteering Opportunities
Tennis B.C.’s mission is to Inspire and Enable Tennis throughout communities in British Columbia. We could not deliver on that mission statement without the tremendous support of volunteers. Please support tennis in your community by volunteering for a variety of tournaments and events such as the Senior Provincial Championships, National Bank Stanley Park Open- July, and the Odlum Brown VanOpen- August.

Rogers FIRST SET TOUR – Rookie
Rookie Tours are one- or two-day entry-level events for children new to the sport of tennis. A “fun first” environment is created for players to participate in multiple time-limited matches. Volunteers help with set up/take down of court equipment, and supervise match play, which includes assisting with score keeping, time keeping, and clarification of rules. The Rookie Tour is perfect for the volunteer who wants to share their enthusiasm for tennis with the kids. Please contact Darran at dwrighton@tennisbc.org for more information.
Safe & Respectful Workplace
The Safe & Respectful Workplace initiative supports the Responsible Coaching Movement (RCM), initiated and coordinated by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC). The goal is to create coach-led, athlete-focused, safe and fun sport environments for both players and coaches that reflect the values of excellence, professionalism, passion, service, and integrity. Find detailed information about this initiative here.
