Junior Wheelchair Tennis

BC Wheelchair Sports (BCWSA) provides wheelchair tennis opportunities for athletes with a physical disability across the province of BC. Whether you are looking to get started or you are an experienced player, we have a program to suit your needs. Our programs are low cost and have demo equipment for you to try or rent, if you do not own a tennis chair. The training opportunities provided by BC Wheelchair Sports are run by certified coaches who have sound knowledge of wheelchair tennis. $5 drop in fee

Intermediate: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Advanced: 8:00pm – 9:30pm

Advanced: 10:00am – 11:30am
Intermediate: 11:30am – 1:00pm
Juniors: 1:30 – 2:30pm
Beginner Adults: 2:30 – 4:00pm

Kamloops Tennis Club

Tuesday evenings – Spring/Summer

Fee: athletes must be members of Kamloops Adapted Sports Association (KASA) to play. Membership is $100/year and gives you access to all sports offered by KASA (wheelchair basketball and handcycling).

Each session is 10 weeks and runs Friday evenings from 7:30-9:00pm

Kelowna Wheelchair Tennis

(Runs during the outdoor season)

Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:30 pm under the lights

Basil Meikle Courts located between the Parkinson Recreation Centre and the Apple Bowl.
The program will focus on fun and skill development for all levels.
Sport wheelchairs, rackets and tennis balls are provided.
