BC Wheelchair Sports Association (BCWSA) Wheelchair Tennis program is a non-profit organization responsible for the development of wheelchair tennis throughout the province of BC. The Burnaby Tennis Club is an extremely active “Little Club” with a strong mens and ladies league contingent. Initially formed as an outdoor club in 1967, it added a 6 court air dome in 1982 which made the club a year-round facility. We currently have 3 mens league teams and 3 ladies league teams. We also have weekly mens doubles and mixed doubles as well as monthly tennis socials. For the singles players, there is a monthly box ladder. The Capilano Tennis Club is a friendly, mid-sized, non-profit tennis club located in North Vancouver, with roots dating back to 1934. The White Rock Tennis Club is a member-only club located in the ocean-side city of White Rock. It features 3 outdoor hard courts that are lit for evening play. A clubhouse with a porch and benches for viewing matches sits adjacent to the courts. There is active league play, junior programs, tennis lessons, and of course lots of social play going on.
