This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis BC.  It is hosted and run by UBC Tennis Centre.

Date: Sunday, 23rd November , 2025

Location: UBC Tennis Centre Bubble, 6160 Thunderbird Blvd, Vancouver BC

Tournament time: 12:00pm-3:00pm (players will be allocated a 1.5 hour time slot, and will be notified of schedule if accepted into the event). We do not accept entries asking for specific match times.

Entry opens: Tuesday, November 11th (08:00 a.m.) – Payment at the time of entry. Players on the reserve list will be issued a full refund 1-2 weeks after completion of the tournament.

Entry closes: Sunday, November 16th (11:59 p.m.)

Acceptance list posted: Monday, November 17th – ** Priority acceptance for first timers, after this entry is random lottery. Payment does not guarantee acceptance into the main draw

Withdrawal deadline: Tuesday, November 18th (11:59 p.m.) Policy for Late Withdrawal and Failure to Complete Required Tournament Events (Reserve list players have up to Sunday Midnight prior to the event to withdraw (if still on reserve after this time there is an expectation to be available and ready to play the event, late withdrawals from the reserve list will not receive a refund, please be sure to withdraw before the deadline).

Support for Parents and Coaches

• No coaching allowed: Do not visually or verbally communicate with your child during their match to avoid penalties.
• No outside officiating: Line calls and scoring disputes must be resolved by on-site staff.

Eligibility

• Priority is given to first-time Rookie Tour participants and those who have only competed in Rookie Tour events.
• Players with 5 or more Rising Stars events are ineligible for the Rookie Tour.

Membership Requirement

• Players must have a Tennis BC “recreational” membership (free).

  • Your account will remain pending until your age is verified.
