This is a Selection tournament to select players to play in 2026 Fischer Junior Indoor National Championships.
2026 Indoor Nationals Team BC Selection Document (see below)
EVENTS: U12 and U16 SINGLES (Boys and Girls)
(maximum 24 boys and 24 girls each age group)
Tournament time: January 8-11, 2026 (Thu – Sun)
Matches start at noon on Thursday (Jan 8)
Tournament Site: both age groups – Oak Bay Recreation Centre, 1975 Bee St, Victoria BC
Entry open: Thursday, Dec 11, 2026 at 8 am
Entry deadline: Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 23:59.
2026 primary age groups:
U12 – born in 2014, 2015
U14 – born in 2012, 2013
U16 – born in 2010, 2011
U18 – born in 2008, 2009
