BC Juniors Compete in Central American ITFs
La Libertad, El Salvador – Three BC juniors, Jovan Sihota, Alexandra Nielsen and Sophia Ho will be competing in the Copa El Salvador G4 this week. Last week, Sihota and Nielsen also competed in the Copa Universidad Galileo in Guatamela. Both players are part of a Tennis Canada Tour lead by former BC Junior, NTC player and professional player, and newly hired Tennis Canada Coach, Nikolai Haessig. In last week’s event, Sihota battled through qualifying to earn a main draw spot, while both Sihota and Nielsen reached the Quarterfinals in the doubles draw. This weekend, Sihota and Nielsen will both compete in the qualifying event, while Ho has been accepted directly into the main draw. Good luck to the  BC athletes, as well as, the rest of the Canadians competing in Central America and around the world this week!

2017 BCSWTA LadySport Doubles Championships
This weekend the BC Senior Women’s Tennis Association is hosting the LadySport Doubles Championships at Jericho Tennis Club. Silex Canada Junior Indoor Provincial Championships Underway
Also taking place this weekend are the U12 and U16 Silex Canada Junior Indoor Provincial Championships. The U12 competitors are hitting the courts at the Richmond Country Club, while the U16 players will compete for the provincial championships at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club.
