The North Saanich annual Women’s Doubles Tennis Tournament hosted at Panorama Recreation Center on April 9 drew female tennis players from all over the island and there was a “lot of high-caliber tennis talent” with “interest in women’s doubles matches at an all-time high.”
The champions of the tournament were Johane Mui and Laurence Millet who won the final in two set 6-0, 6-3. Finalists for the event were Brenda Dean and Caroline Goff.

April 25-29 | Men’s & Women’s Western Canadian Senior National Championships, hosted at Panorama Recreation Centre, Cedar Hill Recreation Centre and Oak Bay Recreation Center.
May 19 – 26 | Panorama International Junior Tennis Tournament will hosting world class junior level tennis at the Panorama Recreation Center.
June 16 – 24 | EncoreFX Victoria International Women’s Tennis Tournament will be hosted at Panorama Recreation Centre, with prize money for this event at $15,000 expect to see women from all over the glove competing. This event is one of seven professional women’s tennis events in all of Canada.
