Information to note prior to entering the event
At Tennis BC, our goal is to ensure that tennis parents and coaches are educated on how to support their child and others during tournament play. Please find some helpful pointers listed below:
- No coaching is allowed. Do not communicate, visually or verbally while your child is playing a match. Your child could receive penalties because of this.
- No outside officiating is allowed. This includes line calls and scoring. Any score disputes on court should be referred to the on-site staff
- Acceptance is prioritised for those who are entering a Rookie Tour event for the first time and those players who have only competed in Rookie Tour events prior to the event.
- Players who have participated in five or more Orange-Green Ball Rising Stars Circuit events are not eligible to play in Rookie Tour. These players will be placed on an exclude list so as to notify them that they have met the maximum number of events to be eligible for the Rookie Tour.
