National Junior Program

For Players aged 8 through 15, Tennis Canada now offers three National Junior Training Programs across the Nation. The objective of these programs is to provide supplemental training and professional assistance to the region’s top juniors, working in conjunction with their clubs and personal coaches.

Vancouver’s TC National Junior program (ages 8-15) Based out of the North Shore Winter Club, is the country’s third Junior National Training Program which is serving Western Canada’s Alberta and British Columbia. The program is lead by Tennis Canada’s Head National coach, Oded Jacob and Spanish native, Ruben Alcantara. A variety of selected young athletes are currently part of this unique program, which delivers a vibrant world class competitive training environment.

Under the leadership of Oded Jacob, during the 2014 -2015 season the program continued its steady growth. 17 players involved ranging in age from 8 to 15 years.
