Over the past week Tennis BC had the opportunity to gather over 100 U10/U12 players and parents from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island as part of the Junior Development – Provincial Training Program initiative. Players hoping be part of the Tennis BC provincial training program took part in the tryout (UBC and Bear Mountain) which included a physical, tactical and technical evaluation.

We would like to thank Tennis Canada’s Director of U10 Development and High-Performance Clubs, Severine Tamborero who helped Tennis BC and the BC Provincial coaches through the try-out process providing guidance and leadership along with leading 100 parents (a UBC and Bear Mountain) through an information junior development parent meeting.

Thank you to the UBC Tennis Centre and Bear Mountain for allowing us to host the tryouts at your facilities.
