Update on the state of the Rogers Rankings in the wake of the suspension of all Canadian National events

Following the suspension of all Canadian National events until June 7, 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to inform you of the decision taken regarding the Rogers Rankings.

The Rogers Rankings have been frozen for all categories as of Week 12, 2020 (Junior, OPEN, Adult, Seniors and Wheelchair) and will remain unchanged through the extended suspension of Tennis Canada’s National events. This measure is consistent with what the ATP, the WTA and the ITF have done. We are currently working on a plan to have a modified ranking structure in place when competition is resumed. Our goal is to ensure a fair outcome for all Canadian players when we resume our activities. Many options are being considered as we speak. Please check TennisBC.org for future updates.

We wish you the very best during these unprecedented circumstances. We believe that we will come out of this stronger by remaining positive and optimistic.

Tennis Canada cancels all scheduled tournaments until June 8
