Tennis BC, in partnership with the Vancouver Foundation, has two funds open for contribution this holiday season and throughout the year. With your support, you will be helping to provide kids with opportunities to discover the sport of tennis and pursue their tennis ambitions. The Community Youth Tennis Fund, which supports the development of youth tennis at the community level, and the Edward Siemens Memorial Tennis Fund, which supports one or more high performance junior athletes competing for Team BC.

The Community Youth Tennis Fund:

Most young players develop their passion for the game on public tennis courts in the community, learning the game in a fun, social setting. This fund supports the development of youth tennis at the community and neighbourhood level providing youth opportunities to participate in and enjoy tennis programs. Tennis BC has programs that donate rackets, balls and learn to play equipment to help keep kids healthy, active and playing for life. Contributions made to this fund are eligible for tax receipts.

Edward Siemens Memorial Tennis Fund:

The funds donated to the Edward Siemens Memorial Tennis Fund are used to provide assistance to high performance junior athletes in need by providing a bursary that provides these athletes with access to program development opportunities within the Team BC Program. This bursary is awarded to one or more individuals who have participated in programs such as the Tennis BC high performance programs and have been selected or could be selected to represent BC as part of the Tennis BC Program.
