Miele Provincial Team Tennis Championships:

The Miele Provincial Team Tennis Championships is a multi-site event held in early August on the North Shore, attracting teams from around the province. Volunteers are an integral part of the success of this event. Help is needed managing the host desks at each site, set up/ take down, team court assignment, collection and reporting of match outcomes, and assisting with the social event(s).

Rogers Rookie Tour:

Rogers Rookie Tours are one or two day entry level events for children new to the sport of tennis. A “fun first” environment is created for players to have multiple time limited matches. Volunteers help with set up/ take down of court equipment, supervising match play which includes assisting with score keeping, time keeping and clarification of rules.  The Rogers Rookie Tour is perfect for the volunteer who wants to share their enthusiasm about tennis with the kids.

Stanley Park Open:

The Stanley Park Open is the largest community tennis event in North America. The tournament is played over a two week period in July. Due to the size and duration of the event, a team of committed volunteers is needed for its success. A multitude of volunteer positions are available from simple tasks as shirt folding, ball sorting and sales to phone answering, tournament desk management and liaising with players, parents, Tennis BC staff and officials. There is never a dull moment when volunteering in the park!

For information on volunteering for these or other Tennis BC events, please contact Lois Ker at 604 737 3087 or email lois@tennisbc.org
