Rogers Rookie Tour
Rogers Rookie Tours are one or two day entry level events for children new to the sport of tennis. A “fun first” environment is created for players to have multiple time limited matches. Volunteers help with set up/ take down of court equipment, supervising match play which includes assisting with score keeping, time keeping and clarification of rules. The Rogers Rookie Tour is perfect for the volunteer who wants to share their enthusiasm about tennis with the kids. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

U14 Canadian Indoor National Championships – Spring 2017
The U14 Canadian Indoor National Championships will once again be held in BC. This spring will witness the best U14 year-olds from around the country descend upon Vancouver to determine the national champion. BC Senior Provincial Championships – May 27th – June 4th, 2017
This event brings the best 30+ aged players from BC, Canada and internationally to compete for the title of each division. With a new ITF designation along with competitive categories, this is an event that cannot be missed!
We are looking for volunteers for morning, afternoon and evening shifts to run the Tournament Desk.
Duties will include:
- Greeting & Checking In Players
- Managing the tournament board and assigning matches to available courts
- The infamous coin toss and ball allocation
- Receiving completed scores and updating the Results board
- Assisting the Tournament Director and Tournament Referee on-site (if needed)
- Distributing player t-shirts, and assisting with the Social Dinner (date TBD)

Leith Wheeler Stanley Park Open, July 2017
The Stanley Park Open is the largest community tennis event in North America. The tournament is played over a two week period in July. Due to the size and duration of the event, a team of committed volunteers is needed for its success. A multitude of volunteer positions are available from simple tasks as site preparation (hanging banners and signage), shirt folding, ball sorting and merchandise sales to phone answering, tournament desk management and liaising with players, parents, officials and Tennis BC staff. There is never a dull moment when volunteering in the park!
